There was a sad smile on Delic’s face as he gazed down at the female before him. She was beautiful, no doubt about that, and possibly kind with a good heart… She was the kind of girl who could believe in love – who possibly fooled herself now into thinking she was in love.
And had Delic been another person, had been a worse person, he could have easily given in to her plea. After all, it wouldn’t be the first time that he deflowered someone and it certainly wouldn’t be his last. But he would not be the one to taint her view on the world. While he himself was skewed and broken he would see to it that her naivete and innocence remained in tact so long that he could.
The host reached forward, brushing slender fingers against the girl’s warm cheek. When she looked up his smile brightened and Delic pulled her closer as he sat down in his hosting booth.
“Why would you want to give such a precious gift to me?”
The blond murmur’s holding her in his lap with one arm while the other keeps her face angled towards him.
Delic didn’t believe in love.
But he did believe in regrets.
He had too many of his own regret’s piled up on tired shoulders.
And he knew most if not all Woman still had hope for love even when they should have long given up that dream.
He would not let himself become a regret for someone else.
“There is someone out there more worthy of such a flower than I am.”
The host nudged her forehead with his own slightly before pressing his lips against her own.
“Give it to them”
Delic didn’t believe in love.
But he did believe in regrets.
Those he was all too familiar with to ever wish it upon another person.
