Hopefully this anon is in a position where they can talk to their parents and really be heard. Being that this is something not to be taken lightly- depending on the views of the parent as well as how their message is brought to light, maybe they should take the time to speak to their parents one at a time and definitively plan out their word choice in the least threatening manner? I doubt...
